I qualified from Nottingham University in 1998. Whilst working at St George’s Hospital, London, I developed a passion for Neurorehabilitation and moved to King’s College Hospital in 2001 to specialise in Neurophysiotherapy.
I have worked in this field ever since, working a day a week at Parkside Hospital, London, but focusing the rest of my time on community work, where I enjoy tailoring rehabilitation programmes to individuals and their specific environments. Having undertaken masters level postgraduate studies in the Bobath and Movement Science approaches to rehabilitation, I now have extensive experience of helping people with a range of neurological conditions.
Formerly on the committee, I am a member of ACPIN (Association of Chartered Physiotherapists interested in Neurology) and regularly attend their educational meetings.
